Insect magnet

The squash are tasty and the foliage is unusual and very attractive. However, after three years of growing this variety I can say they are a magnet for every squash bug and cucumber beetle in your garden. They could be useful as a trap crop. Dumb answer for domb question!

How would I know, I did not buy them to eat. And it is several months before I can plant seeds and hopefully grow squash. Hopefully then I could tell you how I like the squash.

Awesome Germination

I just received these seeds and so far every single one has germinated well under a grow light with home made soil mix in toilet paper roll seed pods. I love seedsnow for their products and commitment to service. I just hope the snow stops soon so I can move them outside.
