Plant these Hubbard Squash varieties to ensure a well-stocked Winter pantry!
The Hubbard Squash is an excellent keeper when in storage and can last up to 6+ months after harvesting! They grow exceptionally well in cooler climates (especially in the Upper Midwest & New England states).
Most varieties need about 100 days to mature and will produce fruit up to 15 pounds in weight! They are known for their thick, rich flesh and colorful, yet "warted" rinds.
